Before the Seminar 

Before attending the Haggai seminar, I knew I had a burden to share the gospel, but I was held  back by fear. 

One person who was constantly my burden was my closest friend, who is a non-believer.  Whenever she came to me with her struggles, I would share my experiences and encourage her  as best as I could. But deep down, I knew that what she truly needed was Jesus. Yet I never  found the courage to tell her about Him. The burden was there, but so was the fear. 

During the Seminar 

During the seminar, God began to work in my heart and reshape the way I viewed both my faith  and my purpose. 

There were many wonderful facilitators who led the various sessions, but one that particularly  stood out to me was the session on Biblical Stewardship by Mr. Wong Koon Tat. His message  deeply challenged me because he spoke about how God does not measure success the way the  world does. Instead, God looks at our faithfulness. 

The lesson that deeply impacted me was learning about having a generous heart. God, in His  great love, did not keep His love and salvation to Himself—He freely gave it to us through Jesus  Christ. As believers, we are called to reflect that same generosity by sharing His love with  others. 

That was when I thought about my friend. I realized that if I truly care about her, I cannot keep  the hope, peace, and salvation that I have experienced in Christ to myself. It shifted my  perspective from seeing evangelism as a difficult task to seeing it as an act of love.  

After the Seminar 

After the seminar, I feel more confident, equipped, and willing to share the gospel. The fear I  once had has been replaced with a stronger sense of clarity and conviction. 

I now feel more ready to speak to my friends, colleges and family about Jesus more intentionally  and boldly. I’ve also made a personal commitment to take that step of faith. 

This seminar has strengthened my heart and reminded me that I am not alone—God is with me  in whatever I do, especially in evangelism. I also can’t wait to go back and share this with my  family, friends, church and community.  

Overall, I am grateful because I now feel more empowered to live out the calling to share the  gospel and to extend Haggai Seminar to all my friends
